ORIGIN STORY - THE WHY OF KRUPTO
The Story Behind Our Logo
In 2015, our logo was born from a deep respect for the heritage of the sniper, a legacy rooted in precision, stealth, and mastery. Its origins trace back to British India in the 1870s, where the term “sniper” first emerged. British soldiers stationed there would hunt the elusive snipe, a small bird known for its erratic flight patterns and the exceptional marksmanship required to hit it. Successfully taking down a snipe was a testament to a shooter’s skill, and those who mastered this art were called “snipers.” Our logo pays homage to this origin with the depiction of the snipe, symbolizing not just the history of the term but the discipline, patience, and accuracy that define the sniper’s craft. The arrow woven into the design represents the first long-range, silent weapon, honoring the ancient lineage of precision and the sniper’s ability to strike from afar without detection. At the center of our identity is the bold “K,” derived from the original Greek term meaning “to hide, conceal, escape notice.” This reflects the sniper’s core principles--stealth, invisibility, and the art of remaining undetected while delivering perfect precision. Our logo isn’t just a mark; it’s a symbol of a legacy that spans centuries, representing the sniper’s unwavering commitment to excellence, accuracy, and the mastery of the unseen.
